It’s all due to the vision of an American couple who were frustrated with the limitations of the skin-care products they were using. Tired of the lack of quality treatments for his patients, dermatologist Dr. Craig Roberts decided to think outside the box. Realizing that makeup could have an impact where traditional skin-care products alone could not, Roberts partnered with his makeup-artist wife, Flori, to launch Dermablend in 1981. To this day, the company’s foundations, concealers, powders and brushes meet or exceed dermatological standards and are trusted by skin-care professionals, makeup artists and customers.
