Firefighters and EMTs can input information such as their agencies, certification dates, or registry information to instantly verify their group statuses. ID.me checks this information against federal and state databases.

Secure Authentication

Law enforcement, firefighters, and EMTs can upload images of documentation of their group statuses. The ID.me team reviews document uploads within 60 seconds at a secure U.S.-based facility.

How do I verify my first responder status?

First you will need to verify your responder status by signing up at ID.me. There you will create an account which will be used to get your exclusive Bear deals.

How do I activate my discount at checkout?

Add the products you want to your cart and continue to checkout. Under "Have a discount code?", click to open the "Military, Nurse, Responder Discounts" bar and then click "Verify with ID.me" button. Once your eligibility is confirmed, your exclusive discount code will be automatically applied at checkout.

Is ID.me verification required to get the deal?

Yes. All online orders, eligible for the First Responder discount, must be verified through an ID.me account.

Can I combine my responder discount with another offer?
